According to Pesando and Guidobaldi, this originally was part of the Casa del Tramezzo di legno, but not directly linked through to it.

Pagano wrote “Following on from this house (III.3), we have a shop with dwelling rooms on the inside, and climbing two steps one finds a room in whose flooring was embedded a large terracotta vase, in which was found the bones of a human skeleton, with 100 bronze coins, 60 of silver, and a bracelet of gold”.
